Troopers probe Wirt County fatal shooting

ELIZABETH, W.Va. — No charges have been filed in connection with a deadly shooting Saturday evening in Wirt County, authorities said.

Randall Lockhart, 45, died of gunshot wounds after the shooting at a residence on Little Kanawha Parkway. State police have said the alleged shooter is cooperating with their investigation.

The shooting was reported at around 5 p.m. Saturday.
