Bank robbery reported in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston police are investigating a bank robbery in the South Hills area.

It happened Thursday afternoon at the the City National Bank on Bridge Road.

Video surveillance captured footage of the suspect.

Police said the suspect is a man who is about 5’8″ to 6′ tall. He was wearing a hoodie, red shirt and a dark ball cap.

The suspect asked for money and then took off on foot down Walnut Road, authorities said.
