BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Authorities in Morgan County are investigating the circumstances surrounding a man’s death after his body was dropped off at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs Friday.
According to a news release, a woman in a pick-up truck dropped the man’s body off but didn’t stay long at the hospital. Deputies later found her at convenience store where she told them she picked up the man, whose name was Elgin, in Berkeley Springs and took him to the hospital because he was unconscious.
The man is believed to be from Maryland, police said.
