Police searching for man in Morgantown Subway armed robbery

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Police are looking for a man who robbed Subway on Patteson Drive on Thursday morning.

Emergency radio traffic described the suspect as a black man with a black hooded jacket, black pants and white shoes. He’s reportedly 6-feet tall and 160 pounds, with a goatee.

It was reported the man told the clerk he had a gun and took an unknown amount of cash. He was seen running toward Raleigh Lane and WVU security cameras caught him running past Lincoln Hall.

As of 10:15 a.m., officers were searching the area of University Avenue and Sunnyside.

This is a developing story.
