Troopers: 2 dead in hunting lease dispute

WILLIAMSBURG, W.Va — State police said charges are pending in connection with a pair of shooting deaths that occurred in Greenbrier County  late Friday afternoon.

Troopers said Jeremiah Thomas and Jennifer Thomas were shot and killed during an argument over a hunting lease. Troopers have identified two other individuals they believe involved in the shootings.

The shootings happened at about 4:30 p.m. Friday in the Williamsburg community near the Greenbrier-Nicholas county line.
