MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — There’s still a week before West Virginia closes out its 2020 recruiting class, but the Mountaineers already have a head-start on the one that follows.
Andrew Wilson-Lamp, a 6-foot-2, 163-pound wide receiver from Massillon, Ohio, committed to West Virginia on Monday. The senior-to-be is a member of the 2021 recruiting class.

Wilson-Lamp visited WVU over the weekend. He also holds offers from West Virginia rivals ancient and new — Pitt and Iowa State. He primarily plays in the slot in his junior year highlight reel.
Rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, Wilson-Lamp comes from one of the most storied high school programs in the country. Massillon Washington is where the legendary Paul Brown got his start in coaching, and newborn boys in the town are famously presented with footballs by the school’s booster club.
The school’s annual game with arch-rival Canton McKinley has been played since 1894, and now Wilson-Lamp is poised to be teammates with one of those rivals. West Virginia junior linebacker Josh Chandler went to Canton McKinley.
West Virginia’s other current 2021 commit is 6-foot-3, 235-pound Swedish tight end Viktor Wikstrom, who made his pledge to the Mountaineers during his American tour last summer.
