1 dead in Parkersburg shooting

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — A Parkersburg man died in a shooting early Wednesday morning, according to police.

Kevin Mason, 27, died after being rushed to WVU Medicine Camden Clark following the shooting in the 1000 block of Lynn Street.

Mason was found on Lynn Street at around 3:22 a.m.

No one else was hurt.

Police are seeking information about the shooting. Anyone with a tip is urged to call Parkersburg Police Detective C.M. Richards at 304-424-1058.
