BLACKSBURG, Va. — On a windy Thursday night at Lane Stadium, West Virginia put together one of its most complete performances in Neal Brown’s four seasons as head coach. The Mountaineers exceeded 200 passing and 200 rushing yards, while limiting the Hokies to 35 rushing yards.
West Virginia evened its record to 2-2, while the Hokies fell to 2-2 and failed to regain possession of the Black Diamond Trophy in the last matchup between the old Big East rivals for the foreseeable future.
