Martinsburg man killed in Morgan County crash

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — A Martinsburg man is dead following a crash on Route 9 in Morgan County.

Morgan County Sheriff KC Bohrer said his deputies responded to a head-on collision on Route 9 East at 7:43 a.m. Thursday.

Bohrer said Joshua Catlett, 31, was killed in the collision. The driver of the second vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported by EMS for treatment.

The highway was shut down for some time so the investigation could be completed and the roadway cleared.

The injured individual’s name has not been released.

The accident is still under investigation.
