State Police release names in connection with Harrison County stabbing

GOOD HOPE, W.Va. — State Police have arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing another woman multiple times in Harrison County Friday night.

Debbie Joe Bise, 65, of Lost Creek, was charged with malicious wounding following the stabbing which occurred off of Good Hope Pike near the community of Lost Creek.

The victim, Sarah Puckett, 31, also of Lost Creek, was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries where she is currently in stable condition.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and other local EMS and firefighters responded to the scene.

An investigation continues.
