Three hospitalized following crash in Cabell County

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. — Three are hospitalized after a crash Saturday afternoon along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 in Cabell County.

Cabell County 911 dispatchers say it happened near mile marker 24 between Barboursville and Milton just before 1:30 p.m.

Deputies say the crash involved a single vehicle, and it occurred after the driver was reaching for a water bottle and struck the guardrail.

They said the three people in the vehicle were two adults and one toddler who were from North Carolina.

All three sustained minor injuries but were taken to the hospital as a precaution by EMS.
