One person dead after two-vehicle crash in eastern Kanawha County

GLASGOW, W.Va. — One person is dead following a head-on crash Wednesday evening on U.S. Route 60 at Glasgow in eastern Kanawha County.

The crash was reported a little before 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Dupont Avenue, near the London Recycling plant.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup truck and a sedan collided. The driver of the sedan was killed.

Authorities said a child was also in the sedan and suffered a bloody nose.
