Randolph County Sheriff’s Department searching for missing elderly man

ELKINS, W.Va. — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department is looking for tips from the public to help locate a missing elderly man reportedly suffering from dementia.

James Hedrick

Police said James Hedrick was last seen Monday leaving the Davis Medical Center Monday around 3 p.m. Police are asking residents to review video surveillance footage in that area from Monday, June 8, 2026 at 3 p.m.

Hedrick also suffers from other medical conditions, according to police.

Hedrick was driving a black Subaru Forester with a West Virginia license plate number 808111A.

Anyone with information about Hedrick or the black Subaru is asked to call the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department at 304-636-2000.
