Woman arrested for broken windows, fire near Cabell County Courthouse

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A woman is behind bars for allegedly damaging Cabell County Courthouse windows and starting a fire near the building Tuesday morning.

Lora Stevens, 32, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree arson and destruction of property, according to Huntington police.

Officers responded to the courthouse at around 3:20 a.m., finding broken glass and a yard sign smoking near the building.

Stevens is being held in the Western Regional Jail on $25,000 cash-only bail.
