Michael Fisher, 36, was charged in 2024 with allegedly possessing fentanyl and a loaded pistol and is now accused of circulating images of the witness against him, according to police in Fairmont.

The witness told officers Fisher had sent direct messages to them that were harassing and that he had disclosed some of the discovery material in the case.

Officers said Fisher’s actions were done to intimidate and retaliate against the witness for cooperating with police in the investigation.

The trial was scheduled to begin July 18.

Fisher has been charged with felony witness intimidation and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.
