White Could Join UFL

Former Mountaineer Pat White could be joining the UFL.  The Virginia Destroyers Thursday announcing through twitter that the organization is close to signing White.

“#Destroyers are close to signing QB Pat White. Deal could be inked in the next few days.  #PatWhite played for the Dolphins & West Virginia U.”

White spent just one season with the Miami Dolphins of the NFL before being released.  He then gave professional baseball a try, signing on for a brief stint in the Royals’ organization. 

The UFL season gets underway on August 13th for the Destroyers.
