TAYLOR COUNTY, W.Va — Three individuals were transported following an ambulance crash at the Marion-Taylor County line Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred just after 9 a.m. on Route 250 South near Deerfield Estates.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy M. Nicholson said a Taylor County ambulance lost control of the vehicle and drove into a ditch. The ambulance struck two utility poles that caused a power outage in the area. Power has since been restored.
Two people needed to be transported by ground to Ruby Memorial Hospital. A third person went to United Hospital Center.
Nicholson said two of the subjects have been released from the hospital. Names have not yet been released.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
