Arrest made in Logan shooting

LOGAN, W.Va. — A shooting in Logan County has left one man dead and a second behind bars.

On Friday morning, records showed Wallace Charles “C.J.” Justice, 25, hometown unknown, was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail in Holden.

State Police arrested Justice for Thursday night’s shooting death of a man WVOW Radio, a MetroNews affiliate, identified as Jared Lee, 27, of Logan.

Lee was shot on Logan’s Dingess Street around 8 p.m. Thursday.

After a search, Justice was arrested less than 12 hours later, according to troopers.

Logan Police and deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Department were also involved in the investigation.
