ROANE COUNTY, W.Va. — A Roane County woman died Wednesday after a tree fell on her.
The incident happened before 1:30 p.m. at a residence in the Craig Ridge Area along state Route 33 near Windyville Road.
According to authorities, the 55-year-old was walking to her mailbox at the time.
The victim’s name was not released.
