CULLODEN, W.Va. — Police in Cabell County are looking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a deadly hit and run.
The collision occurred at around 4 a.m. Thursday along U.S. Route 60 at Culloden near the Putnam Couty line, Cabell County Sheiff Chuck Zerkle said.
Roaxanne Boardman, 30, of Hurricane, was walking along the highway near the Speedway convenience store when she was struck by a vehicle headed east toward Putnam County. Boardman was pronounced dead at the scene. A man walking with her was not injured.
Zerkle said investigators believe a green Ford Mustang was involved in the collision. It looked like it was made between 1999-2004 and Zerkle said it should have some front-end damage.
