Collision in downtown Bluefield claims life

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — A man died after a motorcycle collided with a car Saturday afternoon in downtown Bluefield.

The t-bone type collision occurred on College Avenue at the intersection with Farmer Avenue at around 3:45 p.m.

The motorcycle operator died at the hospital, police said.

The names of those involved were not immediately released.
