Raleigh County commissioner to be remembered in Saturday funeral service

BECKLEY, W.Va. — Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday in Beckley for longtime Raleigh County Commissioner Dave Tolliver.

Dave Tolliver

Tolliver died of an apparent heart attack back on Monday.

Visitation is set from noon until 3 p.m. at the Raleigh County Convention Center. The funeral starts at 3 p.m.

“I would say Dave would want to be remembered as a Christian first. He believed in God, family, and country. He was a pillar of the community,” Raleigh County Commissioner Greg Duckworth told MetroNews earlier this week.
