Autopsy determines cause of student’s death

BECKLEY, W.Va. —Raleigh County investigators said Friday an autopsy shows a UC-Beckley women’s basketball player died of natural causes.

Sheila “Coko” Hopkins, a Bluefield native, had an existing heart condition.

Hopkins was found in her dorm room in January. Foul play had previously been ruled out.
