Morgantown Native Josh Judy To The Reds

West Virginia native and University High School graduate Josh Judy has been claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Reds. Judy was drafted by Cleveland in the 34th round of the 2007 MLB draft.  The 25 year old appeared in 12 games during four stints with Cleveland in his Major League debut in 2011.

Overall, he posted a 6-2 record with 23 saves and a 3.12 ERA while in Triple-A Columbus last year as well.  He was designated for assignment by the Indians on December 16th to make room on Cleveland’s 40-man roster for newly acquired Aaron Cunningham.
