CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Spring Valley senior forward Jacob Kilgore was tabbed as the 2015 Evans Award Winner, presented to the West Virginia boys basketball player of the year, selected by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association.
Kilgore averaged 23.5 points and 10 rebounds per game for the Timberwolves this past season.
Wheeling Central’s Chase Harler finished second in voting, with Greenbrier East’s Christian Ortiz third. Huntington’s Tavian Dunn-Martin was fourth and South Charleston’s Brandon Knapper fifth.
