WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce is reporting record attendance for its annual Meeting & Business Summit Wednesday at the Greenbrier Resort.
“This year registrations have been pouring in since early in the summer. Usually by the Monday before the event, registrations have finished, but the phones have been non-stop today with more people wanting to attend,” Chamber President Steve Roberts said in a news release Monday.
The three-day meeting will include the state’s largest gathering of business, education and policy leaders.
The Chamber will hear from state leaders such as Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, U.S. Senators Joe Manchin and Shelley Moore Capito, along with former Vice President Dick Cheney and more.
Topics up for discussion will include education, job creation, workforce, energy and the environment, intellectual property issues and the 2015 Legislative Session.
Members in all 55 West Virginia counties make up the Chamber who employ over half of the state’s workforce.
