KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. — A Berkeley County man murdered his wife and then killed himself Saturday, state police said.
The bodies of Jerald Moran II, 46, and Melissa Moran, 42, were found in their Kearneysville home just before 6:30 a.m.
Troopers were told Jerald Moran called family members and told them his wife had committed suicide. Investigators later determined he used a handgun to shoot his wife then took his own life.
