Crowd greets President Trump at Greenbrier Valley Airport

LEWISBURG, W.Va. — Around 80 people braved a breezy, chilly morning to watch President Donald Trump land at Greenbrier Valley Airport Thursday.

Air Force One touched down at around noon, as scheduled. A motorcade waited for his arrival which included Governor Jim Justice.

President Trump and Governor Justice took time to shake hands with spectators located behind a barrier on the tarmac before taking off for The Greenbrier. He spoke at the Republican Congressional Retreat.

This marks the third visit Trump has made to West Virginia as president. Other appearances include the 2017 Boy Scout Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve and a Huntington Rally in August.

Air Force One left from Greenbrier Valley Airport later that afternoon bound for Washington, DC.
