CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The state Department of Environmental Protection has launched a new webpage designed to help people learn more about five major natural gas pipeline projects.

To view the webpage, CLICK HERE.

The five projects include both proposed plans and projects that are already under construction.

The webpage focuses on projects on the following pipelines:

  • Atlantic Coast Pipeline
  • Mountain Valley Pipeline
  • Mountaineer Gas Company Eastern Panhandle Expansion Project
  • Mountaineer Xpress Pipeline
  • Rover Pipeline

Information such as maps that detail each pipeline project are available. There is a link to the DEP’s online database where additional information such as any inspection and enforcement action and any permit modifications can be found.

Residents can also view public hearing transcripts and press releases about the pipelines.

“We are making sure that anyone who has any questions about these pipelines can find those answers on one easy to use webpage,” DEP Cabinet Secretary Austin Caperton said in a news release. “People who live near these projects deserve to be able to find answers to their questions quickly, and WVDEP is providing this new webpage to help them do that.”
