Tractor-trailer fire halts Interstate 64 traffic

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A tractor-trailer fire halted westward traffic on Interstate 64 Sunday afternoon.

The incident is at mile marker 28.5 in Putnam County near Milton. Both westbound lanes are closed.

State officials recommend using U.S. Route 50 at mile marker 34 as a detour. It is not known when the road will clear.
