Detroit man dead in Huntington shooting

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A Detroit man was shot and killed in Huntington Tuesday morning.

Someone in a private vehicle dropped off the body of Antonio Pierre George, 28, at Cabell Huntington Hospital at around 1:30 a.m. According to police, George had been shot in the 1800 block of Artisan Avenue. The body was removed before police got to the scene.

Investigators haven’t said anything yet about a possible suspect.
