MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU Medicine is adjusting its visitor policy and will no longer allow visitors at its hospitals or outpatient clinics for the foreseeable future.
The change will be in effect across the system starting Monday at 8 a.m., although several facilities have already put the restriction into place.
The policy is because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Limited exceptions will be allowed for end-of-life cases, pediatric patients and obstetrician patients. Each patient will be limited to one person.
