Two killed in Jefferson County crash

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — State Police confirm two people have died and two others are injured following a crash west of Shepherdstown.

It happened at around 4 pm on Martinsburg Pike (Route 45) near the intersection with Berridge Drive. 29 year-old Sharonda McDowell was traveling westbound when she struck 38 year-old Kristopher Cline as he was heading eastbound.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office assisted State Police. Fire and EMS crews responded from Berkeley and Jefferson counties.
