Eric McGuire sends us this really cool picture from Barbour County after a black snake gets curious on his porch. 

During Saturday’s edition of Ram Trucks West Virginia Outdoors, DNR Biologist Frank Jernejcic discussed varieties of black snakes in West Viginia.  According to Jernejcic 95-percetn of black snakes in West Virginia are a common black rat snake and the other five-percetnt are black racers.   Jernejcic determined this was the more common black rat snake.
