State Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Boone County.
Dispatchers got the call at 12:43 Friday afternoon following the crash on state Route 3 near Foster.
Authorities say Rachel Vicker was killed when the car she was in crashed head on into a truck.
Vicker was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five other people were also injured in the crash. Their names and conditions have not been released.
Police say ice and snow on the road was to blame for the accident.
