One dead in Barbour Co. accident

A wreck on US Route119 in Barbour County involving a school bus leaves one person dead.

The wreck happened between Philippi and Volga between 8:30 and 9:00 Tuesday morning.  A passenger car collided with a school bus on the highway.   The driver of the car was killed.  The bus driver was not injured and there were not students on the bus at the time of the crash.

Barbour County deputies are investigating the accident and are unsure what caused the wreck.    The name of the victim has not been released.
