Former Thundering Herd and Pittsburgh Steeler offensive lineman Doug Legursky has inked a deal with the Buffalo Bills.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
“There’s just a vibe they have here,” Legursky told Buffalobills.com. “They have an electricity here. They’re an amped up coaching staff. I really think they’re going to do well and I’m just glad to be a part of it and part of an organization that trusts me. They brought me in and hopefully they’ll lead us to a championship.”
Legursky, a Beckley native, signed as an undrafted free agent with the Steelers in 2008 following his career at Marshall. He made is first start for Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLV against the Green Bay Packers. During his four seasons in the black and gold, Legursky made 17 starts and played in 50 games at center and guard.
In Buffalo, the Woodrow Wilson High graduate is expected to compete for the starting left guard job.
“I’ve had a starting season at guard,” Legursky said. “I’ve played just as much guard as I have center, but whatever they need me to do, right, left, center, fullback, tackle, just throw me in there and I’ll get the job done.”
