HINTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia State Police have made an arrest in a murder case that started in 2011.

Oscar Ross Combs was arrested Tuesday by State Police in Hinton in connection with the disappearance of James “Bo” Butler.

Butler, a Summers County resident, was last seen on April 5, 2011. Two weeks later, police recovered his body on Crumpler Road in Wyoming County.

Police said probable cause was found during the investigation to charge Combs with first degree murder Tuesday.

Combs is currently being held in the Southern Regional Jail without bond.
