MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — An investigation by the WV State Police Crimes Against Children Unit led to the arrest of a Morgantown woman Thursday.
Cassandra Noss, 25, is accused of sexual abuse by a person in position of trust to a child.
She is facing four felony charges.
According to Sgt. Adam Scott, WV State Police, a worker at the Academy Programs Youth Offender Treatment facility in Fairmont turned Noss into police after allegedly discovering inappropriate pictures of Noss and a teenage boy she was treating.
The worker, who had been romantically involved with Noss, told police the pictures were on Noss’ cell phone.
Scott said the teen told investigators he and his therapist, Noss, developed feeling for one another and had sex with one another at least ten times at Noss’ home.
She allegedly picked the boy up at his Grafton home during weekend visits to bring him to Morgantown where the abuse is said to have occurred.
Noss would not talk to investigators regarding the charges.
Noss was arraigned in Monongalia County Magistrate Court and placed on a $100,000 cash or surety bond. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Adam Scott at 304-367-2701.
