CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston police have a search warrant out for a man wanted in connection to a Thursday morning homicide in Orchard Manor.
Police are looking for Deandre “Dravo” Moore, 19, of Charleston. He is wanted on a first degree murder charge in connection to the death of David Stewart, 23, of Garrison Avenue in Charleston.

Lt. Steve Cooper, chief of detectives with the Charleston Police Department, said they believe Moore was on foot when he shot Stewart who was inside his vehicle on Hutchinson Street near Griffon Drive around midnight.
“At the point that he was shot, he (Stewart) drove away fleeing the scene, lost consciousness and lost control of the vehicle,” Cooper said. Stewart than crashed his car.
Stewart died shortly after being shot and that the gun shot wound is what killed him, Cooper said.
“He was killed by the gun shot. The car accident was very minor. The gun shot would was in a critical area of his body,” Cooper told reporters.
Cooper said another person was inside the vehicle with Stewart. On Thursday, investigators were continuing to gather witness statements and evidence connected to the case. Cooper said they need to get Moore in custody so no one else gets hurt.
“We consider him to be armed and extremely dangerous,” he said.
Anyone with information about Moore’s whereabouts is urged to call 911.
