TSA says the most citation was Sunday.

The most recent incident occurred Sunday when a Braxton County man was caught with a loaded handgun. When the man, who lives in Copen, entered through security, TSA officers spotted the 9 mm handgun on the X-ray monitor in his carry-on luggage.

Yeager Airport police confiscated the gun and cited the man on a state weapons charge.

This ninth gun citation at Yeager makes it more than four times the number caught the previous year. In 2015, two travelers brought guns through airport security.
