Bridge Day, one of the largest extreme sports events in the world, is a West Virginia institution. For one thing, there’s the beauty of the New River Gorge. For another, there’s the spectacle of seeing hundreds of people in parachutes jump 876 feet from the New River Gorge Bridge.
