LOGAN, W.Va. — Minutes from the Logan County Board of Education’s November 9 meeting say a teacher previously arrested for sending nude pictures has been terminated.

According to an earlier MetroNews report, Tracy Miller, 27, was arrested on September 1 after the Logan County Sheriff’s Department spoke to a student who received the pictures. Miller allegedly sent the inappropriate pictures to five students via Snapchat, a popular social media app.
Logan County Chief Deputy Mike Mayes told MetroNews in September that Miller confessed to sending the pictures to the male students during questioning between March and July. She was later released on personal recognizance bond but prohibited from returning to school.
Miller faces three counts of distribution of obscene material to minors. Additional charges could still be added after further investigation.
