High school baseball gallery: Logan, Poca split pair of games

LOGAN, W.Va. — Logan and Poca this week split a pair of games with Poca winning on Monday 6-4 (gallery above) and Logan taking a matchup on Wednesday, 19-6.

Logan ends the regular season 12-13 overall and will enter postseason play next week as the No. 3 seed in Class AA Region 4, Section 2. The Wildcats overall are the No. 6 seed in the 12-team region.

Logan opens sectional play on Monday against Mingo Central.

Poca, meanwhile, is the No. 6 seed in Region 4, Section 1 and the No. 10 seed overall in the region. The Dots will open up sectional play against Nitro on Monday.
