Class AA Game Ruled as “No Contest”!!

This past Friday night, the Grafton Bearcats traveled to Petersburg to take on the Vikings, however because of a scheduling conflict with the game officials, the game was not played.  According to Petersburg Athletic Director Kevin Board, the game has been ruled as a “No Contest” which means neither team gets credit for a win, a loss or a tie!

The Vikings AD said, “sometimes when you have two different parties trying to agree on something, things just can’t be worked out!”

The game promised to be a great match-up as both ball clubs had opened the season with two straight wins.  Up next for Grafton is a trip this Friday night to (1-2) Oak Glen while Petersburg will travel to Class AAA Hampshire (0-3).
