Bowen scores 5 TDs as Bridgeport rallies past RCB, 41-35

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va — Bridgeport senior running back Jake Bowen rushed for 252 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Indians to a 41-35 win over county rival Robert C. Byrd at Wayne Jamison Field.

RCB’s Ghovan Davidson scored three touchdowns and rushed for 270 yards in the loss.

Bridgeport (4-1) has won eleven consecutive games in this series, a streak that dates back to 2010. The Flying Eagles fell to 3-2.
