Justice directs extra attention to Marshall County roads

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Jim Justice on Tuesday directed West Virginia Division of Highways officials to focus on road maintenance activities in Marshall County after residents voiced concerns to Justice regarding current road conditions.

Justice visited Marshall County on Monday for a presentation on federal grant funding, yet the event turned into Justice answering questions about the current conditions of the local roads.

Justice also asked acting Commissioner of Highways Jimmy Wriston to travel to Division of Highways District 6 to evaluate the progress of work.

Division 6 includes Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel and Tyler counties.
