New Beckley Police Department HQ officially opens Monday

BECKLEY, W.Va. — The opening of the new City of Beckley Police Department downtown headquarters will take place Monday.

A 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for the $6,000,000 building located off Neville Street next to the Beckley Intermodal Gateway.

The opening originally was scheduled for January but was delayed, partly due to unfavorable weather that impeded exterior construction.

Following the ceremony, the public will be invited to tour the facility.
