SHANNONDALE, W.Va. — A weekend stabbing remains under investigation in Jefferson County.
Deputies responded to River Crest Road in the Shannondale area shortly after midnight Saturday. On scene, they found a man in his late 30’s with multiple stab wounds on his arm and chest.
The victim was flown to an area hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
Sheriff Pete Dougherty confirmed the case remains under investigation. Deputies have interviewed several people, but no arrests had been made as of Monday morning.
