The Bulldogs built a 20-0 first-quarter lead and took a 35-6 advantage into halftime.

Malakai Brown, a former Hedgesville standout, scored the game’s first TD for the Bulldogs, who improved to 5-0.

Trailing 28-21 in the third, Park got a 17-yard TD run from Dunlevy to pull even.

Zanesville (4-1) went in front with just over 7 minutes to play, but a missed extra point left its lead at six.

Dunlevy threw a late touchdown pass to Carson Namack on fourth-and-10 for the game-winning score, and Nate Shelek’s late interception sealed the Patriots’ fourth straight victory.

Spring Valley surges past George Washington

Luke Christopher and Zane Porter accounted for 1-yard rushing touchdowns in the first quarter and Class AAA No. 10 Spring Valley never looked back in a 41-6 victory over No. 11 George Washington.

After a Jeremiah King rushing TD got the Eagles on the scoreboard, Sam Romano returned the ensuing kickoff 78 yards to the end zone.

Winkie added a 12-yard rushing score later in the opening quarter, and the Tribe defense accounted for a safety in the second half to continue to add to the team’s lead.
